July 21-22, 2023 – Farm Bureau Expo (Lebanon)
This is an excellent chance to get new people involved with Farm Bureau! Select young farmers or those involved in agriculture from your county to attend the annual Young Farmers Conference at the Farm Bureau Expo in Lebanon on July 21-22, 2023.
Other Important Information
Attire: Contestants should dress professionally for competitions. Those not competing are welcome in business casual Friday, casual Saturday morning through afternoon and business casual Saturday night.
Childcare: Childcare WILL be provided at this year’s conference.
Hotel Rooms: The conference delegates will be housed at the Hampton Inn (1065 Franklin Rd.), Fairfield Inn & Suites (1145 Franklin Rd.) and Holiday Inn Express (826 S Cumberland St.) in Lebanon. Hampton and Fairfield hotels are located off exit 236 (S Hartmann Dr.), and the Holiday Inn is located off exit 238 (US-231). Tennessee Farm Bureau will make all hotel reservations based on your conference registration through the county office. Please do not call the hotels directly.
We will provide up to three hotel rooms for each participating county. Additionally, TFBF will provide rooms for state committee members and the 1st & 2nd place state winners from 2022 YF&R contests. If more than three rooms are needed, the TFBF will invoice the county Farm Bureau for the additional rooms. The rates of the hotels are $139 plus tax or less.
Registration: To register for the Young Farmers Conference, you must contact your county Farm Bureau office. If you need to cancel your reservation, please call Scarlett Copeland 72 hours in advance at (931) 388-7872, ext. 2216. After that, you will be charged for your room. If you need late arrival, please indicate on the registration site.
Door Prizes: If your county would like to contribute a door prize, please spend less than $25 in order to keep door prize items similar in value. Examples are gift cards, products from your county, homemade jellies, handmade items, or other products. Contributing door prize items is completely voluntary.
