TFBF Statement on New Trade Deals

“Strengthening our export markets for Tennessee agricultural products is a top Farm Bureau priority, and we welcome the progress the Trump Administration has made with Mexico. Farmers have remained patient during the renegotiation process, and we hope these actions will help facilitate further talks with Canada to create an even better North American Free Trade Agreement.

We are grateful for the administration’s tariff mitigation package, which provides much needed temporary relief; however our farmers want nothing more than to establish fair trade deals with existing markets and seek out new markets for their products,” said Tennessee Farm Bureau President Jeff Aiken.
