Tennessee Young Leaders Conference

The Tennessee Young Farmers Committee and the Tennessee Council of Cooperatives have developed an exciting and educational Young Leaders Conference program for all Tennessee Young Farmers & Ranchers to attend Friday afternoon, February 25 through Saturday night, February 26, 2011. The conference will be at the Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Please call (1-800-782-3119) and make your hotel reservations prior to January 28, 2011. The room rate is $79.99 plus tax per night (Farm Bureau group rate).

Directions to Holiday Inn Pigeon Forge
The Holiday Inn is located at 3230 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN. Exit off I-40 at Exit 407. Take Hwy 66 south ““ merges into Hwy 441 (Parkway). Located on Hwy 441 between traffic lights 6 and 7. Hotel Sets back from the Parkway on the right. 15 miles from I-40.

A special treat this is the Friday afternoon dinner and entertainment at the Dixie Stampede compliments of the Tennessee Farmer Co-op.

Highlights of the conference are a special speaker and two general sessions with Good to Great in Agriculture Vision 2020 and the Ten Golden Rules of Management with Dr. David Kohl.

A tentative program is attached. The conference will be highlighted with great speakers. Saturday night will feature the Annual Agriculture in the Classroom and John Willis Memorial Scholarship Auction. Tennessee Farm Bureau will provide childcare and the Tennessee Young Farmers & Ranchers State Committee will be hosting a hospitality room on Friday and Saturday night after the program.
 
Pack up the family or come by yourself, and enjoy the education, fun, and friendship with all the Young Farmers from across Tennessee for a weekend you won’t forget! Each county is encouraged to bring donation items for the AITC/John Willis Memorial Auction.
