Austin, TX. January 20th, 2020 – Tennessee Farm Bureau President Jeff Aiken was honored to host a “fireside chat” with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue on stage at the American Farm Bureau’s 101st Annual Meeting. In front of more than 5,000 Farm Bureau members, President Aiken and Secretary Perdue discussed important issues facing the agricultural industry, as well as potential solutions Perdue believes USDA and the President’s Administration can accomplish soon.
“It was a privilege to introduce Secretary Perdue and sit down with him to dive deeper into what the farm community across the country is facing currently, and what he is doing daily in his role to help our farmers,” said TFBF President Jeff Aiken. “He’s the farmer’s Secretary and we are blessed with his hard work over the past three years.”
