These 6 hour workshops will introduce teachers to Ag in the Classroom materials, which they will get to take home with them in grade groups of Pre K-2, 3-5 and 6-9. The materials include lessons for mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. Each participant will qualify their respective school for a mini-grant of up to $500 to establish a school garden. The workshops are conducted by our Tennessee Foundation for Agriculture in the Class- room educational consultants. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. There is no charge for the workshop.
