Vandalism, arson, and theft are crimes that happen from time to time on the property of Farm Bureau members across Tennessee. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the Unites States. People who have information about crimes are often reluctant to provide information to the authorities. The Farm Bureau Property Protection Reward Program is in place to encourage people who have information about crimes committed on the property of Farm Bureau members to share information to bring criminals to justice and to make our communities a safer place for Farm Bureau members.
The Property Protection Reward Program will pay $2,500 on behalf of a Farm Bureau member for information leading to the arrest and felony conviction of anyone committing theft, arson, or vandalism on a member’s property or the theft of a Farm Bureau member’s identity.
The Property Protection Reward Program is also intended to be a deterrent against crimes. Two types of signs are available for members through county Farm Bureau offices. The first is a sign that’s acceptable for attaching to barns, gate posts, and other farm buildings and outbuildings. The second is a sign that’s mounted to a stake that’s ideal for placing around the home.
Additional information and complete rules governing the Property Protection Reward Program are available through local county Farm Bureau offices.
