Farm Bureau Women at both the state and county level have been organized to give special emphasis to those phases of the FB program that center in the farm home and rural community and to enable farm women to have a major voice and part in the development and promotion of these vital program objectives.

The purposes of this great program are to promote agriculture, increase agricultural literacy, and to assist in an active, organized way in carrying forward the phases of the Farm Bureau that are of particular interest to farm women; namely- better educational, social and spiritual opportunities for rural people, and the development of a more wholesome, healthful and abundant country life.
Farm Bureau Women support many activities on a local and state level- among those being Agriculture in the Classroom and Farm-City Days. The purpose of a farm-city day is to promote modern agriculture to the non-farm public- both our rural and city neighbors.
There are seven program areas in the Farm Bureau Women: Organization and Program Planning, Public Affairs, Commodity Promotion/Public Relations, Agriculture in the Classroom, Community Health and Safety, Leadership Development and Citizenship. Each of these areas interconnects with all other areas to establish a dynamic, service-based group that promotes agriculture and its lifestyle.

Farm Bureau Women set policy for the coming year at the American Farm Bureau Annual Convention
